Jesus Christ demonstrated His power and love — the very power and love of God.  These four men tell the story in simple words that still ring with eternal truth.

Matthew was a tax collector for the Romans until Jesus called him to follow as a disciple.   Matthew tells the story of Jesus from a distinctly Jewish point of view.

Mark was a young man who saw Jesus but was too young to follow Him.   Mark later spent time with Peter and other apostles, learning the ways of God.  And he eventually wrote Peter's recollections of who Jesus was and what He did.

Luke was a physician, of Greek descent.  He was a also an excellent historian, recording the witnesses who knew and walked with Jesus.  And later he would also tell of the things the apostles did, after Jesus rose from the dead.

John was a fisherman, along with his brother James and their friend Peter.  John began as a Son of Thunder but soon became the apostle of love, centering his writings on God's perfect love.  His gospel account reveals Jesus as God's Son, our Savior.
